I Am Leaving Gorilla Tag, Here’s why…

I’ve decided to take a break from Gorilla Tag for the month of June. If you’ve played the game around this time, you’ve probably seen how the whole map gets filled with Pride stuff—LGBT flags, trans flags, and all kinds of messages that support that community. It’s everywhere in the game during June.

Now, I know some people might think that’s cool or not a big deal, but for me, it’s something I’ve thought about a lot. I’m a Christian, and I’m learning in church about God’s plan for families, marriage, and how He created us. I believe in that, and I want to live in a way that reflects those values.

I’m not here to hate on anyone or attack people who think differently—everyone gets to make their own choices. But I also believe I should make choices that line up with my faith. And right now, that means stepping away from a game that’s pushing messages I don’t agree with all month long.

I want a strong family someday. I want to live the kind of life I believe God teaches us to live. And when something—even a fun game—goes against that, it’s okay to take a step back.

I might post other VR content this month, or maybe I’ll just take a full break and enjoy real life for a bit. Either way, I’ll see you back in Gorilla Tag on July 1st.
